Tehran, July 5, IRNA-Foreign ministers of Iraqi neighboring states plus Egypt are to hold their 9th meeting in Iran on July 8-9.
A report released by the Foreign Ministry's Media Department said that an inaugural ceremony for the conference will be held at the Political and International Studies Department of the Foreign Ministry.
The meeting will be attended by foreign ministers of Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan, Turkey, Iraq and Egypt.
The secretaries-general of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) and Arab League have been invited to participate in the meeting.
The eighth meeting of foreign ministers of Iraq's neighboring states was held in Istanbul, Turkey.
At a meeting with Iraq's National Assembly Speaker Mahmoud Al- Mashhadani on Tuesday, Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki expressed hope that with assistance from Iraq's neighboring states the upcoming meeting will manage to present constructive and positive suggestions for meeting the goals of the Iraqi people and solving their problems.
