TEHRAN, July 8 (Mehr News Agency) - The meeting of foreign ministers of Iraq's neighboring countries started in Tehran on Saturday afternoon.
Iranian FM Manuchehr Mottaki, Egyptian FM Ahmad Abu al-Ghayt, Iraqi FM Hoshyar Zebari, Saudi Arabian FM Prince Saud al-Faisal, Jordanian FM Abdullah Al-Khatib, Syrian FM Walid al-Moalem, Turkish FM Abdullah Gul, and the Bahraini FM Sheikh Khaled bin Ahmed Al Khalifa have attended the conference.
Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa, United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan's special representative for Iraq, Ashraf Qazi, and the Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu are also present in the meeting.
Mottaki said that security in Iraq, recent crimes of the Zionist regime, and the continuation of the foreign troops' presence in Iraq are among the main topics.
