TEHRAN, July 27 (Mehr News Agency) – New president of Iran's Football Federation (IFF) will be elected in a general assembly in the presence of FIFA representative here on October 29, announced the IFF Secretary Dariush Mostafavi Thursday.
According to him, the IFF caretaker head Kiumars Hashemi will head the assembly and the new federation chief will take office for the next four years.
Mostafavi added he wrote a letter to the FIFA president Sepp Blatter, asking him to dispatch the world football's body representative here to directly supervise the election and Blatter agreed to the request.
