TEHRAN, June 4 (Mehr News Agency) - Iran's national football team Sunday arrived in the southwest German resort town of Friedrichshafen, where it trains for the 2006 World Cup matches.
Iranian players are familiar with Friedrichshafen as they held a training camp there in July 2004 ahead of the Asian Cup.
Veteran fullback Yahya Golmohammadi due to the visa problem failed to accompany his teammates.
The officials, however, announced that the Saba Battery defender would join them soon.
The Iranian side takes on heavyweights Portugal and Mexico and debutant Angola in Group D first round matches of the world's most prestigious sporting event.
