PRAGUE, June 19, 2006 (RFE/RL) -- Iran has released all the protesters detained last week during a rally of women's rights activists, with the exception of one man.
A spokesman for the judiciary said the man remains under investigation. He gave no details.
The Iranian authorities arrested 70 people at the June 12 rally, saying the gathering was "illegal."
A number of women were beaten when the police moved in to break up the rally, prompting condemnation by human rights groups.
