Soccer: Klinsmann "not interested at all" in US coaching job

Berlin, June 26, IRNA-German trainer Juergen Klinsmann has ruled out taking over the US national football team following media reports which linked him to replacing US coach Bruce Arena.

"It's all only speculation, especially once a team exits from the World Cup. I am not interested at all," Klinsmann said during a news conference in Berlin, broadcast live on German television on Monday.

The US press reported over the weekend that the US Football Federation might be looking for a new coach after the Americans' first-round ouster from the 2006 World Cup.

"I am only interested in my team," added Klinsmann who resides in the US.

Klinsmann has made international headlines as a result of his team's impressive run at the World Cup so far.

Germany will face Argentina in the World Cup quarter-finals in Berlin on Friday.
