Tehran, March 4, IRNA -An earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale hit the outskirts of Hashtroud in East Azarbaijan province, northwestern Iran, Friday evening.
According to the provincial seismological base, affiliated to the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University, the quake occurred at 19:14 hours local time (15:44 GMT).
The quake was felt in an area measuring 47.09 degrees in longitude and 37.17 degrees in latitude.
There are no reports of any casualty or damage to property caused by the tremor.
