Tehran, 9 March 2006 (CHN) - CHN launched its first tourism online journal under the name of Irangard (visiting Iran). This special issue is about traveling to the city of Qazvin and Alamout mountainous region.
Irangard is one of the tourism online journals launched by CHN and it is going to launch its second journal with the name of "Jahangard" (tourists). The first issue of Jahangard journal will dedicate to Malaysia.
Qazvin city is the first chosen international tourism city by the UN. The memorandum of understanding for incorporating Qazvin in the list of the international tourism cities had been signed by the United Nations Human Settlement Program and the Iranian officials in December 2006.
With the visit of Mrs. Anna Tibaijuka, director general of the United Nations Human Settlement Program, from the city of Qazvin in January 2006, the case became more serious and some fundamental steps should be taken to turn the city of Qazvin into one of the main Iran's tourism destinations.
Therefore, the first issue of Irangard online journal is dedicated to the city of Qazvin in which Qazvin's tourism attractions, UN's program about this city and its influence on the future of the city has been explained.
A 2-day trip to Qazvin and Alamout has been suggested in the first issue of Irangard journal with some information about the expenses, lodgings, foods and transportation. An illustrated itinerary to Qazvin province is also provided in this issue.
With referring this online journal, you will also get familiar with Qazvin's intellectuals, the important historical events, and wonders of Qazvin in this online.
