A performance of Masterpieces of
Contemporary Persian Classical Music, Saturday June 11th at Julia
Morgan Theater, Berkeley

Seda ensemble has been formed to
recreate and replay the greatest work of Persian classical music that has been
composed by master musicians in the past 70 years. Some of the most memorable
melodies that have shaped the music of Iran are being played with passion.
Bringing back some of our deepest emotions to the surface. This music is
accompanied by the great literary works of Hafez, Molana, Aref Ghazvini, and
Amirhoushang Ebtehaj (Sayeh). In this particular performance we will hear works
by Hassan Kasaiee, Morteza Neydavood, Aref Ghazvini, Mohammadreza Lotfi, and
Hossein Alizadeh. This performance is taking place at the great Julia Morgan Theater located at 2640 College Ave. Berkeley, CA
90405 on June 11, 2006

Seda’s goal is to both entertain and
educate the audiences with works of grand masters of Iranian classical music,
doing so Seda will cooperate with guest artists who will aid them in achieving
