I recently
saw
an
enlightening film, "Peaceful Warrior" starring Nick Nolte and Amy Smart. It is
Based on "Way of the Peaceful Warrior" a bestseller book by Dan
Millman.
It is a contemporary
tale of Rumi & Shams Tabrizi' encounter. The film is all
about
spiritual
messages in a direct and simple language and yet very entertaining. You got to
see it.
The film is
produced by the Iranian American prominent producer, Mark Amin. Mark came across the
book, more than 10 years ago and recognized many of Rumi's teachings in the
book. Upon meeting the author, Mark realized that Dan also was a student
of Rumi and in fact had got many of his inspirations from Rumi.
Mark currently serves
as Vice-Chairman of Lions Gate Entertainment and has produced more than 50 films
including Academy Award Nominee "Frida". Lions Gate Films is
the
distributor of
"Crash", which won the Academy Award for Best Picture last year.

Thursday, June 1st,
there's a special evening preview, with a unique big-screen
Tele-Community-Conference after the film, linking all audiences in six
cities, to be able to see and communicate with each other. This is the first
time this technique is being used to link people together.
