Tehran, Nov 13, IRNA-Two earthquakes measuring 3.8 and 3.6 degrees on the Richter scale jolted the cities of Khaf and Khor in northeastern and eastern Khorassan Razavi and South Khorassan provinces, respectively, Monday.
According to the seismological base of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University, the quake in Khaf was registered at 08:26 hours local time (0456 GMT).
It was epicentered in an area measuring 59.79 degrees in longitude and 33.97 degrees in latitude, the report added.
The quake in Khor was registered at 01:35 hours local time (2205 GMT on Sunday).
It was epicentered in an area measuring 58.28 degrees in longitude and 32.87 degrees in latitude.
There are no reports of any casualty or damage to property caused by the quakes.
Iran is often hit by quakes of varying magnitudes as it sits on some of the world's most active seismic faultlines.
