TEHRAN, Nov. 15 (ISNA)-Iran's Pars Gas and Oil Company has reached final agreements with Total on the expansion of South Pars oil field's phase 11.
"We are just waiting for the final decision of Iran's national oil company and Total," announced Pars Gas and Oil Company directing manager.
It is notable that phase 11 of South Pars oil field has the capacity to produce daily 50 million cubic meters of sour gas so to produce 10 million cubic meters of LNG and 70 million cubic meters of other various liquid gases.
Talking with the Mehr News Agency, Hossein Roshandel added, "Located in the Persian Gulf, northern, western, and central regions of the country, the blocks will be developed on the E&D scheme."
He explained that a number of the blocks have been selected from among the 24 oil blocks put on tender in 2004, naming Deir, Kapeh-Dagh, and Moghan among them.
However, several new blocks can be seen on the list, he added.
