TEHRAN, Oct. 20 (Mehr News Agency) -- Iran Air (HOMA) chief, Saeed Hesami said that his company has pledged to conclude the purchase contract of some five Tupolev 204 (T-204) aircraft from Russia within a month.
He also noted that new negotiations regarding air transportation delivery will be set in progress with the Russian government.
Despite the fact that Iran Air is in the forefront of head-on meeting with the imminent economic sanctions against Iran, the company actually holds one of the most commanding and systematic air transportation in the world with some 200 daily flights to different destinations.
In conclusion, he said that preparatory measures are being taken to pave the way for privatizing HOMA according to the Article 44 of the Constitution.
