Tehran, Oct 23, IRNA-Iran's crude was sold for about dlrs 54.61 a barrel on average on October 20, according to an statement by National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC).
NIOC's International Affairs Department reported in its website that Iran's heavy and light crude were sold for dlrs 54.30 and dlrs 52.10 respectively a barrel on average on the day, which was the highest.
Iran's light crude attained the highest price (dlrs 57.61 a barrel) on the list on the Asian markets on the day, while the lowest price (dlrs 50.10 a barrel) went to the country's heavy brand traded on the Mediterranean market.
On October 20, crude prices hit their lowest on the markets this year as OPEC announced it will cut the output. Each barrel of the US benchmark light crude for delivery in November was traded for dlrs 56.55 on the day, according to the report.
