Tehran, Oct 26, IRNA-The first interior ministers meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) will open in Tehran on October 30 and will continue up to November 1.
According to a report released by the Public Relations Department of the Interior Ministry on Thursday, the meeting will be dubbed as `Security, Stability and Sustainable Development'.
It added that the upcoming three-day meeting aims to review economic, security and social issues contributing to the stability of economic exchanges between OIC member states.
"Expansion of economic cooperation and campaign against money laundering, organized crimes and illegal migrations will be high on the agenda of talks during the event," it said.
The ECO members include Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.
Deputy Minister of Interior for international and provincial development affairs, Rahmani Fazli, has been appointed by Interior Minister Mostafa Pour-Mohammadi as the secretary of the first ECO interior ministers meeting.
