These winners will each receive a
statue plus a cheque for 10,000,000 Rials.

Please note that this year the
awarding committee was unable to obtain permission from Ministry of Culture and
Islamic Guidance to publish the photographs which had reached the final in a
catalog, as in previous years. The
awarding committee was also unable to get the agreement of the head of Khaneh
Honarmandan to hold the awards ceremony and to display the best selections for
the public to see.

Mr. Omid Salehi (Photojournalist and Documentary maker), Mr. Hossein Ghandi
(Professor of Journalism and Editor of Jam-e-Jam in UAE), Ms Catherine David
(Art Director at Pompidou Centre ) and Bahman Ghobadi (Film Director).
