TEHRAN, Sept. 4 (Mehr News Agency) - Iran finished runner-up to Russia at the World Under-20 Freestyle Wrestling Championships in Guatemala Monday.
The Iranian team took the second title on 60 points after it bagged two golds, two silvers, and two bronzes in the 60, 84, 74, 120, 50, and 66kg respectively.
Russia stole the show with six gold medals (70 points) and Ukraine ranked third with one gold and two bronzes, bringing 43 points.
Forty-four states pitted 176 wrestlers in the event.
Iran took two silvers and the fourth title of the Greco-Roman event of the world meet Thursday.
Russia was crowned with three golds and four bronzes (70 points) while Turkey stood second with 55 and Ukraine ranked third on 38 points.
