TEHRAN, Sept. 17 (Mehr News Agency) -- Sergei Kiriyenko, the head of Russia's Federal Agency for Nuclear Power, said Sunday in Vienna that he and Iranian officials will hold a meeting within the next ten days to finalize the date for the start-up of the Bushehr nuclear power plant.
In a meeting with Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Director Gholamreza Aqazadeh, Kiriyenko said that a group of senior experts will present a report on the latest technical situation of the plant to both sides.
The Russian official expressed optimism that the dates for the start-up of the nuclear power plant and the transfer of fuel will be finalized during the next meeting.
Aqazadeh expressed Iran's dissatisfaction over Moscow's delays in honoring its commitments to complete the Bushehr nuclear power plant.
He asked the Russian side to make serious efforts to start up the plant as soon as possible.
