TEHRAN, April 17 (Mehr News Agency) -- Sixty five films from 30 countries are participating in the Hamedan International Film Festival for Children and Young Adults which will take place from April 30 until May 4.
In the competitive section of the gala, Germany has entered five films, and Estonia, Japan, and Switzerland have each entered three films.
In the non-competitive section, thirteen films from the Czech Republic will be screened during the event.
Organization of the festival began in March, and members of the selection board of the International section include Amir Esfandiari, Jamal Omid, Mohammad-Saeid Qaeini Najafi, and Majid Shah-Hosseini.
The final number of entries will probably increase after the children's and adults' juries have been appointed.
Other countries that will be participating in the event are Armenia, Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, Egypt, France, Lebanon and South Korea.
