Iran's 2006 imports mainly came from 10 states

TEHRAN, April 25 (Mehr News Agency) - Seventy percent of Iran's import in the past Iranian year (ended March 20, 2007) was from the United Arab Emirates, Germany, China, Switzerland, France, Korea, Italy, England, India, and the Netherlands, said Customs Administration here on Wednesday.

The UAE, Germany, China, Switzerland, and France are the main five exporters respectively, accounting for 22.4 percent, 12.1 percent, 7.1 percent, 5.4 percent, and 5.1 percent of products.

Totally 42,194,800 tons of products worth $41,390,300,000 was imported, showing 23.2 percent and 4.1 percent rises in terms of weight and price respectively when compared to the figures in its preceding year.
