Iran won 25-22, 26-24 and 15-07 the second, third,
and fifth sets but was defeated 25-21 and 31-29 the first and fourth sets.
Iran, Argentina, France and China pulled off the
surprise of the championship in Mexico after they left the six times world
champions Brazil and title holders Russia out of the top four story, the first
time in ten years.
