The fifth
largest exhibition of Iranian visual artists known as the "Photo of the Year"
exhibition concluded in Tehran.
According to
ISNA's visual arts reporter, an hour before the sunset of the second day of Azar,
artists gathered together in the court yard of the Iran Artists Organization to
take a memorial photo. This was the fifth time that Iranian visual artists
gathered in a joint exhibition in this organisation.

This year
the memorial photo was taken by Sasan Tavakoli, who arranged the artists to
stand together from the highest level of the building down to its entrance,
trying to embrace all the 500 artists inside the image.
At last the
concluding ceremony began by the speech of the founder of the exhibition and the
following films were shown: "Photographers", one minute film by Mohammad
Razdasht, last years five minute film, image duel by Seifollah Samadian and
Massoud Dehnamaki called "From Karkhe to Canne".
Samadian
talked about Madjid Jozani -chief of the Iran Artists Organization- promises
regarding the expansion of the organisation and reported about the participation
of photographers, film makers, caricaturists and graphic designers in the fifth
Photo of the Year exhibition.
Three
musicians and singers of the Deng Show group performed in this ceremony. Ghazal
Shakeri was the singer and Reza and Taha Shojanouri played saxophone and piano.
An
unabridged version of "Bad Debor" film by Mohammad Rasulov was a surprise in the
ceremony. The rainy concluding ceremony was terminated by a short film by
Jamshid Bayromi.
