Tehran, Dec 8, IRNA - Iran's energy minister on Friday announced that the World Bank (WB) will finance some projects in Iran.

Parviz Fattah said that current political pressures have no effect on the WB performance.

The sides have reached agreement on funding energy plans last month, the official added, according to Tehran Times today.

He made the statements upon his return from Japan, where the First Asia-Pacific Water Summit was held.
