Tehran, Dec 11, IRNA - One of Zahra Kazemi dossier lawyers said here Monday Supreme Court has annulled the verdict issued by Primary Court on Zahra Kazemi's case.
Abdol-Fattah Soltani added in an interview with IRNA, "The lawyers had from the beginning insisted that there were two types of breaches of the laws regarding the way Zahra Kazemi's dossier was surveyed and the Primary Court's verdict on the case was issued."
He reiterated, "One of those breaches was the General, Crimes, and Appeals Court of Tehran Province was legally not authenticated to survey such files, and the second breach of the laws was that the issued verdicts for annulling the arrest warrants by the court have so far not officially been delivered to the lawyers of the file."
According to Soltani, today, four and a half years after the issuance of the verdict by the primary court, Bench 15 of the Supreme Court has accepted that both protests were acceptable, and forwarded the file for renewed consideration at Primary Court to the Crimes Court of Tehran Province.
Soltani added, "Thus, Zahra Kazemi's file would be surveyed from the very beginning at the new court.
