Press TV - Japanese club Urawa Red Diamonds has clinched an easy 3-1 victory against the Iranian outfit Sepahan at the Club World Cup in Japan.
The loss shattered Sepahan's dreams to avenge their defeat against the Japanese team in last month's Asian Champions League final.
Sepahan coach Luka Bonacic had hoped that his side would advance to the semifinals after beating the Japanese Urawa Reds.
The Japanese outfit made a goal feast after Yuichiro Nagai scored in the 32nd minute. Urawa's leading striker Washington gained the second in the 54th minute. Sepahan's Hadi Aqili hit the net 20 minutes before the end of match.
Mahmoud Karimi gave Sepahan a consolation goal in the 80th minute which was too late to realize their dreams.
The Japanese team will play European champions AC Milan on Wednesday, to secure a place in Sunday's final.
The winner of the match will face the victor of Wednesday's clash between Boca Juniors and African champions Etoile Sahel of Tunisia in Tokyo.
