
Tehran's deputy mayor for
technical and development affaires, pointing to the progress of building of
Tehran's Milad Tower, said the works are carried out without stopping. He said:
The glass elevations of the central shaft of the tower have been installed up to
the height of 40 meters.


According to the urban report
service of ISNA, Engineer Naser Gudarzvand said: The building at the bottom of
the tower comprises of a three storey building which has a glass elevation which
is now being constructed and has gone up to a height of 40 meters. This
construction can now be seen from Hakim or Hemat highways.

He pointed out to the fact that
the glass elevation of Milad tower reflects the light and is resistant to
changes of temperature. He asserted: The building operations are going on with
full speed and we hope that at the time of the opening of the first phase of the
tower the glass elevation is finished as planned.

Gudarzvand added: The first phase
of the Milad tower project will be opened this Bahman [February]; this phase
consists of the assembly hall, the tower and the building at the bottom of the
tower, which accommodates the cultural spaces, museum and other related spaces
such as parking spaces and utility rooms.
