TEHRAN, Dec. 21 (ISNA)-Iran's president and Saudi Arabia King met in Mina to emphasize on further cooperation between Tehran and Riyadh.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and King Abdullah said strengthening ties between Tehran and Riyadh as two poles of Islam's world prevents enemies to divide Muslim nations.
They have called for the continuation of their cooperation within the framework of regional and international organizations such as OPEC and Persian Gulf Cooperation Council.
The two top officials also conferred the latest developments in the region, Iraq and Lebanon's issues.
Meanwhile King Abdullah said Ahmadinejad's participation in the summit of Persian Gulf cooperation council was "the first and a significant step en route to expanding regional cooperation."
In this meeting Mahmoud Ahmadinejad invited the King for an official visit to Iran.
