Tehran, Feb 9, Taliya News - Mines and Industries Minister emphasized in Tehran on Tuesday at opening ceremony of a CTX monitor manufacturing line at Bit Pardaz Co. that the government supports productions in IT field.
Pointing out that the technology applied in manufacturing the Iranian products is very advanced and not inferior compared with foreign made goods, Ali-Reza Tahmasbi added, "Our manufacturers must try to focus on making indigenous the technology in contacts they sign with foreign partners and to produce the latest generation of the technological products."
Mines and Industries Minister than at a meeting with officials of IT Products Manufacturers Syndicate referred to the continuation of government's preferential tariffs support for IT production, including for the members of that syndicate.
He further expressed satisfaction over the investments made in the field and announced the government's will to keep supporting industrial production in various fields.
During the visit the Minister asked the officials of Bit Pardaz and the IT Products Manufacturers Syndicate to focus on manufacturing motherboards in Iran, reiterating, "The government has decided to offer special bonuses for manufacturing motherboards in the country.
Bit Pardaz Co. is one of the largest manufacturers of computer accessories in the country engaged in production of keyboards, computer cases, and speakers with the trade names Microlab and PROBIT.
Bit Pardaz Managing Director Mohammad-Hossein Mohebbi says one of the objectives of that company is exporting its products to the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the European countries.
