Tehran, Feb 26, Taliya News - IranCell's GPRS service that enables 2nd Operator's users to have direct access to Internet through their mobile sets would be available as of Esfand 1st, 1385 (Feb 20, 2007) for both IranCell prepaid, and postpaid SIM card subscribers.
The service would be free of charge up to Farvardin 15th, 1386 (End of the March) for IranCell subscribers.
According to IranCell Managing Director Ali-Reza Qalambor-Dezfouli so far 90% of Tehran districts are under IranCell network coverage and by Esfand 15th 95% of them would be covered.
He added, "IranCell has made some bonuses to its subscribers in order to further familiarize them with its network's added value services and privileges."
He said that taking advantage of the advanced MMS and GPRS services that are being offered in the country for the first time would be free of charge for entire IranCell users till mid-Farvardin 1386.
Dezfouli added, "Meanwhile during the official holidays of the New Year sending SMSes through this operator to networks in Iran and from Esfand 29th, 1385 to Farvardin 5th, 1386, sending SMSes inside the country would be free of charge, while sending and receiving international SMS messages too would be possible.
IranCell Managing Director meanwhile reiterated, "Applicants for IranCell prepaid and postpaid SIM cards, too, that would apply for them on Esfand 20th and 21st would get respectively 200 and 76 minutes of free talk time, to any stationary, or mobile phone line inside Iran, or abroad."
According to him, IranCell subscribers would have access to 2nd Operator's international roaming service as of Esfand 1385, to 200 countries.
