Tehran, Jan 13, IRNA-The deputy commerce minister said that the value of Iran's non-oil exports in the first nine months of the current Iranian year (starting on March 21) has risen to dlrs 11,6 billion.
Mehdi Ghazanfari in a ceremony held here on Saturday to appreciate model exporters added the figure has registered a 41 percent rise compared to the same period last year.
He put the value of Iran's non-oil exports in the first nine months of the last Iranian year (starting march 21) at dlrs 8.2 billion.
According to Ghazanfari, petrochemical, industrial and agricultural products have constituted the main part of the country's non-oil exports.
Ghazanfari noted that the export of petrochemical products in the current Iranian year has grown by 37 percent compared to last year.
Besides petrochemical products and minerals, export of vegetables, flowers, plants, wood and foodstuff has registered a noticeable growth.
He named China and UAE as the main customers of the exported goods and commodities, followed by Iraq, India, and Japan.
He also underlined the need for gathering and disseminating information on target markets as well as planning to support export of services by Iran.
