TEHRAN, Jan. 21 (Mehr News Agency) -- The bill on Iran and Switzerland air transportation agreement was signed into law by Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejad. The agreement is aimed at the expansion of the air transportation services between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Central European nation.
The law, sent to Iran's Ministry of Roads and Transportation, consists of an introduction, 22 clauses and an appendix. It permits the signatories to the treaty to fly in each other's air spaces, land in each other territorial lands for the purposes other than cargo and passenger transportation or postal services.
The fuel, engine oil, consumables, spare parts and provisions used by the airline company designated by the signatories of the pact will be exempted from customs duties, customs inspection fees, and any tariffs otherwise, the report added, a report said here on Sunday.
