Tehran, Jan 27, IRNA - Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said in Tehran Saturday Iran would welcome a comprehensive formula toward solving the dispute over its peaceful nuclear program.
Mottaki's remarks came as he spoke to reporters following a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Sergei Martynov.
"Iran's consultations with countries on its peaceful nuclear activities are aimed at reaching a comprehensive formula," he said.
He added that Russia's Security Council Secretary Igor Ivanov is arriving in Tehran Saturday night to hold talks aimed "at finding a comprehensive formula."
He was optimistic a comprehensive formula could be found to the Iran nuclear issue. In the talks, "Tehran will examine different proposals," he said.
"A comprehensive formula will preserve Iran's rights as well as remove certain concerns," he stressed.
IAEA inspectors arrive in Iran
Three IAEA inspectors arrived in Iran late Friday to inspect the country's nuclear facilities in Isfahan and Natanz.
A reliable source told IRNA on Saturday that the inspectors will in their week-long mission carry out routine inspection of Iran's nuclear facilities.
The inspectors are visiting Iran amidst some claims that Iran had called on the IAEA to drop from its list names of 38 of its inspectors.
The IAEA members have the right to allow or bar the Agency inspectors from visiting their territory. Westerners have however used the issue as a pressure lever to launch propaganda campaign against Iran.
