Tehran, Jan 28, IRNA-World Bank will finance sewage projects in the cities of Sari and Babol in the northern province of Mazandaran for a five-year period.
Announcing this, deputy head of provincial water and sewage department, Seyed Mehdi Hosseini, said on Sunday that a 75-million-dollar credit has been allocated by the WB to this end.
He said that participation in the field began in 2006, adding that out of the funds earmarked for contracts, which were signed with the World Bank, 60 percent has been allocated to sewage projects in the city of Sari.
