Iran Tehran, July 4, IRNA - Another earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale jolted the city of Behabad in the central province of Yazd on Wednesday.
According to the seismological base of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University, the quake was registered at 13:21 hours local time (0951 GMT).
The epicenter of the quake was in an area measuring 55.95 degrees in longitude and 32.12 degrees in latitude, the report added.
There are no reports of any casualty or damage to property caused by the quake.
Meanwhile, an earthquake with a 5.1 magnitude struck Behabad at 09:41 hours local time (0611 GMT) on Wednesday.
Governorate office of Behabad district said the 5.1-degree quake caused no casualty or major damage to property.
Iran is often hit by quakes of varying magnitudes as it sits on some of the world's most active seismic fault lines.
