Iran-Saudi Arabia discuss Lebanon and Palestine

TEHRAN, July 06 (ISNA)-Iran's foreign minister in a phone conversation with his Saudi Arabian counterpart Prince Saud al Faisal discussed and talked about conditions in Lebanon, Palestine and bilateral ties.

Manouchehr Mottaki in this phone conversation stressed the importance of cooperation between all Islamic and Arab countries so to aid the innocent nation of Palestine and to free that country from its current state.

Both sides also agreed that the best way to solve this current state would be for the two Palestinian sides to directly talk and negotiate with one another.

Mottaki and Prince Faisal also talked about Lebanon, the different groups in that country and ways to solve the disputes.

The two sides at the end of this conversation emphasized on strengthening and expanding political and economic relations.
