Tehran, July 9, IRNA - Iran stood top at the Asian Junior Freestyle Wrestling Championship in Manila, the Philippines, Sunday.

The Iranian team garnered five gold and two bronze medals, securing 69 points.

Saeed Dadashpour (66 kg), Iman Mohammadian (74 kg), Ali Rajabzadeh (84 kg), Komeil Qasemi (96 kg) and Mohsen Yazdian (120 kg) won gold medals while Bijan Kurdi (50 kg) and Aref Alizadeh (55 kg) snatched bronze medals.

Mongolia finished runner-up with 60 points and the third title went to Japan with 53 points.

The two-day competitions kicked off in Manila Saturday.
