Majed Ghamas, said Abdul-Aziz Hakim along with his political council deputy, Mohsen Hakim left Tehran for Baghdad this morning and were received by a group of the supreme council representatives and Iraqi people.
In answer to this question that whether Hakim would take part in the Tehran-Washington meeting, he said Hakim led the way to the opening of talks between Tehran-Washington, but the Iraqi government would be synchronizing the rest of the agenda from now on.
While noting that it was not known when he was to return to Tehran for the rest of his treatment, Ghamas added this issue was due to the security and his medical team's opinion.
An official in the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council also said "Hakim was welcomed by all of the alliance factions of the Supreme council and deputy prime minister, Barham Saleh," and added that Hakim was not scheduled to have any meetings yet.
