TEHRAN, July 28 (ISNA)-Iran and Indonesia plan to construct a shared oil refinery next year. Tehran-Jakarta agreed on building a $5.6 billion oil refinery in Banten to produce 300 thousand barrels per day.
Regarding President Ahmadinejad's meeting with his Indonesian counterpart a few months ago, Iran's ambassador in Indonesia gave the news that the two countries intended to cooperate in different fields including building an oil refinery.
An official meeting in August will be held in Tehran over the project.
The Iranian oil refining and distribution company and Pertamina oil and gas company will represent their countries in this project.
