TEHRAN, July 31 (ISNA)-Iran's foreign minister deputy said the second round of talks held between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the U.S. had become "operational".
"The talks in the second round have reached a stage which can be called and considered operational," Manouchehr Mohammadi stated.
He added a tripled committee had been authorized to cooperate and continue the talks.
Mohammadi regarding the statements made by the U.S. ambassador in this regard explained "These statements are sometimes about their own interior affairs, but what was said and motioned in the meeting was completely different."
Ryan Crocker had accused Iran of interfering in Iraq interior affairs.
An Iraqi official said Nouri Maliki would visit Iran immediately after his trip to Turkey in August 13th.
This official added it was yet unknown how long the Iraqi Prime Minister would stay in Tehran and that the length of Maliki's visit depended on the issues which were to be discussed in this trip.
He also explained "The senior board that is to accompany Maliki is yet unknown."
Maliki is scheduled to pay a two-day visit to Turkey to discuss the PKK problem with his Turkish counterpart.
