TEHRAN, Jun.15 (ISNA)-The 35th edition of the international La Rochelle film festival has dedicated a section to introducing contemporary Iranian women filmmakers this year in France. (Jun.29-Jul.09)

Tahmineh Milani, Rakhshan Banietemad, Manijeh Hekmat and Niki Karimi

Films by Niki Karimi, Maryam Khakpour, Mania Akbari, Sepideh Farsi, Samira Makhmalbaf, Marzieh Meshkini, Tahmineh Milani. Manijeh Hekmat and Rakhshan Banietemad are to be displayed at the event.

Karimi, Hekmat, Khakpour and Farsi will be present at the event as representatives of Iranian women cinema.

The International Film Festival of La Rochelle has been created under the legal responsibility of the "Association du Festival International du Film de La Rochelle" (FIF-LR) in Paris.
