TEHRAN, March 4 (Mehr News Agency) - The scenic Kish Island in southern Iranian province of Hormuzgan will play host to the world's strongest men in a cutthroat competition "Persian Gulf Grand Prix" on March 15 and 16.
Four powerlifters, Reza Qaraii, Mojtaba Maleki, Majid Dejabrar, and Mehdi Mirdavudi, will represent Iran in the prestigious tournament.
The three-time world champion Marius Pudzianowski from Poland will be also among the participants, competing with sturdy men from 18 countries.
Poland, the United States, Granada, Estonia, Lithuania, Germany, Iceland, the Netherlands, Belarus, Bulgaria, Canada, Denmark, Bulgaria, Australia, Norway, Austria, and Russia will attend the GP.
