Tehran, March 11, Taliya News - Telecommunication Company Of Iran (TCI) Managing Director said in Tehran on Tuesday government has permitted the TCI to privatize its affiliated firms.
Saber Feyzi reiterated in an interview with ILNA, "In order to implement the IRI Constitution's Article 44 solidly the TCI and its provincial affiliated companies would all be privatized."
He added, "The subscribers' deposits would, if they are willing, be turned into shares and delivered to them, while this company's employees' interests would be secured in the course of privatization."
Feyzi pointed out that the TCI's Infrastructure Telecom Company would be detached from it and it would continue its activities as a part of the ICT Ministry.
He added, "The TCI would be the first gigantic state firm that would be privatized in line with materializing the objectives of Constitution's Article 44, and in accordance with the government's relative ratification."
