Riyadh, March 15, IRNA - Iran's National Youth Football Team (under 23) lost an away qualifier football match for China 2008 Olympics one-nil to Saudi hosts in Riyad on Wednesday evening.
Saudi side's number 16 scored the game's single goal in 82nd minute of the match.
The two teams left the field having scored no goals at the end of the first half.
Saudi coach changed three of his players in the 2nd half including two in the midfield and one in its attack line.
Both teams displayed a good and relatively fair play, although they both had a number of ups and downs.
The Saudi players got three warnings from the game's referee and the Iranians for two.
The game was played at Muhammad bin-Fahad bin-Abdul Aziz Stadium of Saudi Arabia's Dammam City.
The Iranian youth had gained a goalless tie in their first qualifier against the Australian National Youth earlier last week in Tehran.
Their next match in this context would be against Jordan on March 9th in Amman.
