Tehran, March 24, IRNA - Managing Director of Iran Khodro Industrial Group Manouchehr Manteqi said in Tehran on Saturday that by taking needed standards from Turkish Ministry of Industries, his company would shortly start export of Samad cars to Turkey.
He added that as of late April the company is scheduled to export 300 Samand cars per month which would be open to increase to 10.000 by the next year.
He also reiterated that 21 authorized representative offices and spare parts stores are currently equipped and started up in seven big Turkish cities to supply Samand cars and also provide customers with after-sale services.
Manteqi said that Turkey imports 300,000 of different automobiles annually and Samand with its good facilities and technical pecifications could brightly participate in Turkish competitive market.
According to the experts, French, German, and Italian automobiles are on top in the list of cars in Turkish auto market, but Turkish people's inclination towards Samand, irrespective of its competitive potentials, seemed to be due to the cultural commonalities existing between the two Islamic nations of Iran and Turkey.
