(IWSF)
CONFERENCE

Iranian women have pursued women's rights on many
fronts for several decades. The role of the Iranian women's movement has been
significant in furthering not only women's issues, but human rights in general.
Given that Iran has one of the youngest populations in the world, it is crucial
to bridge the experiences and accomplishments of the Iranian women's movement
across generations.
The selected topic provides opportunities for
different generations of Iranian women to exchange ideas concerning the women's
movement and to share their aspirations for the future. We are pleased to
present the following topics:
- A comparative analysis of generational
achievements and participation in the Iranian women's movement
- The social, cultural, political, and economic
issues of Iranian women (in Iran and abroad)
- The effects of inter-generational relationships on
the development of gender issues
- The prevalence of and possible solutions to the
generational gap
- Middle East and other international women's
movements
IWSF strives to create an atmosphere that encourages
a constructive dialogue. We hope this discourse contributes to a more effective
Iranian women's movement.
