TEHRAN, May 2 (Mehr News Agency) - Iran has exported $1,343,987,000 worth of nuts in last Iranian calendar year (ended on March 20), Customs Administrations reported in Tehran on Wednesday. Given the figure, the exports showed a 31.7 percent rise when compared to the figure of its preceding year.

Fetching $1,068,489,000, pistachio and its kernel stood first in terms of value.

The main importers of Iran's nuts were the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, Germany, Russia, and Ukraine.
