Iran bags world archery bronze

TEHRAN, May 5 (Mehr News Agency) - Iran's archery team stood third at the world compound event in Italy Saturday.

The three-strong side comprising Reza Zamaninejad, Parviz Sadeqi, and Majid Ahmadi beat the Swiss team 239-213 in the third-place clash.

The four-stage World Cup is held in Korea, Italy, Germany, and Spain in 2007 and the total points are deciding for qualification for the 2008 Olympic Games.
