TEHRAN, May 12 (Mehr News Agency) - Iran snatched two gold, one silver, and one bronze medals at the Asian Greco-Roman wrestling tournament in the Kyrgyz capital Bishkek Saturday.
In the 66kg final, Hamid Surian overcame his South Korean rival to grab the glittering gold.
The second gold came as Saman Tahmasbi beat a finalist from South Korea in the 84kg clash.
Mehdi Sharabiani took the silver in the 120kg category, conceding a loss to his Chinese opponent.
Earlier in the day, Ali Mohammadi bagged bronze in a hard-fought third-place encounter with Japan's representative.
Last Wednesday, holder Iran stole the show at the Asian freestyle meet.
The formidable side was crowned with three golds, two silvers, and two bronzes, brining 64 points.
Kazakhstan finished runner-up with an asset of two silver and three bronze medals and the third title went to Mongolia that bagged one silver and two bronzes.
