Tehran, May 14, Taliya News - Education Ministry's IT Projects Harmonizer said in Tehran Saturday there is one computer at disposal of each 32 Iranian high school students.
Hossein Navabakhsh added in an interview with IT Desk reporter of IRNA, "The statistics differ at other academic levels."
He said, "In the year 2005 the comparative statistic was one computer for each 43 students.
In reply to a question in which provinces there are more computers at disposal of the students, he said, "That is not quite known to us yet, but generally speaking, there are more computers in the larger cities."
The Education Ministry's IT Projects Harmonizing Manager reiterated, "In accordance with terms of a contract signed with the Education Ministry, this year 150 intermediate high and 250 high schools would be equipped with computer workshops, as well as the required software and hardware."
