Tehran, May 24, Taliya News - Managing Director of Iran Telecom Factories Company said here Tuesday after getting approval for our produced prototype mobile set, we would in June simultaneously begin production of mobile sets and accessories.
Mohammad-Ebrahim Mottale'a focusing on latest status of Soroush-Resaneh Consortium, that is commissioned to manufacture six million mobile sets in Iran, whose deadline is already overdue, added in an interview with ISNA, "The preliminary measures for mass production of mobile sets are already adopted and our production lines would soon be clicked on."
He added, "The prototypes of the Iranian made samples of some of the BTS facilities, such as the antennas and the radio systems, too, are presented to the Radio Communications & Regulations Organization (RCRO) for confirmation and we are waiting for a word form them to start manufacturing."
Mottale'a had a while ago announced the Mazandaran Pilot Project has already been successfully launched and the consortium is engaged in designing a network in Marvdasht jointly with the Mobile Communications Company of Iran (MCI) the first products of which would be presented to market by June 21st.
